Our experience on a crucial issue: how to renew your brand image and make your company's history shine through?

A breath of fresh air for the 20th anniversary of Productions Optimales

Twenty years is a symbolic milestone. Two decades of passion, challenges and landmark creations. To celebrate this anniversary, we undertook an ambitious two-pronged project: revisiting our brand image and highlighting our history. This in-depth work led us to rethink our identity and organize a memorable event on February 27, bringing together 80 of our customers, partners and collaborators. Here's how we put this transformation into practice.

An immersive event to mark the occasion

From the outset, we wanted to offer an extraordinary experience. Marc-André Leclerc, our president and founder, had a vision: an immersive installation with 360-degree projections at the heart of our studio at 240-909 Boulevard Pierre-Bertrand. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with Angel's Views Productions under the direction of museum projection specialist Stéphane Rousseau. With the help of our team, Stéphane transformed our studio into a space where our most striking creations would live on the walls in large format.

Our cyclorama, freshly painted white for the occasion, served as the backdrop. Various types of screen, including a lighting fabric, were tested to fine-tune our multi-projection set-up. The calibration of the projectors, meticulously prepared a few weeks in advance, enabled us to deliver high quality broadcasts.

The sound, just as important as the image, was handled by the events company Satir Productions for an immersive sound installation. Speakers suspended from the studio's lighting grids and along the corridor created an enveloping ambience, amplifying the sensory experience.

To add a prestigious touch to the evening, we included a stage for speeches and a gala-style presentation of our videos. The event was hosted by Priscilla April, one of the agency's most experienced animators. Eklosion Professional animation and long-time collaborator. Musical entertainment was provided by DJ Shieldie while bites and bubbles - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - were served to guests by the caterer le Quarante 7.

Revisiting 20 years of history on video

To immortalize our journey, we produced a historical video retracing two decades of existence. This project involved a meticulous exploration of our archives, creatively staged. We integrated our archive photos with objects emblematic of our profession - camera tracks, monitors, lighting equipment - to anchor our narrative in our field of expertise.

To add a universal dimension, we spun a metaphor about the evolution and resilience of species, illustrated by images of nature in transformation. This parallel underlines our capacity to adapt and our constant quest for innovation.

Marc-André Leclerc delved deep into his memories to nourish the script. Director Frédéric Gaudry structured his interviews to extract a fluid, engaging narrative, carried by the experienced voice of narrator Béatrice Zachary. The integration of documentary excerpts with Marc-André reinforced the authenticity of the film, in line with his values.

In post-production, senior editor Jean Michaud ensured rigorous work on archive defraying and precision cutting, taking care to preserve the essence of the story while ensuring optimal fluidity. His methodical approach contributed to the balance of the editing, enabling the film to find its rhythm and coherence.

A rethought brand image for the future

Celebrating our past was essential, but we also wanted to look to the future. In collaboration with Cabinet 3we redefined our values and modernized our visual identity.

Our new slogan - "We work in the shadows. You shine." - expresses our mission: to shine a light on our customers through our discreet but essential expertise. Craftsmanship, flexibility, humility and excellence are at the heart of this transformation.

A new, meaningful logo

The evolution of our image also involved redesigning our logo. Behind this new visual identity lies a strong symbolism. Find out more about the symbolism behind the logo, click here.

This revamped logo allows us to assert our positioning with clarity and modernity, while remaining true to our DNA.

As part of our campaign, we also revisited our team portraits. Produced in black and white, these streamlined photos reflect our artisanal approach and commitment to excellence. The choice of chiaroscuro highlights the idea that we are the artisans behind the scenes, those who make others shine.

Every member of the team was photographed avec a camera look, a subtle but essential detail that embodies the trust and transparency that define us. We also integrated our logo directly into the compositions, emphasizing that the team transcends the individual and that our strength lies in this collective synergy.

An evening to match our ambitions

Once the videos were finalized, we fine-tuned the final touches to ensure perfect broadcasting at the event. Christine Gingras, Director of Production and Operations, ensured that everything was orchestrated with precision.

On the big day, our studio was transformed into an immersive space, with 360-degree projections immersing guests in our world. Marc-André Leclerc delivered a moving speech on the importance of trust, a fundamental value in entrepreneurship as in creation. He thanked our customers and collaborators, reminding us that our success is based on the repeat business generated by trust.

Priscilla April eloquently presented our new image, highlighting our evolution and ambitions. Our three videos and new photos were presented to an attentive and intrigued audience. Then it was time for the party: DJ Shieldie took over, and together our guests celebrated Productions Optimales's past and future.

This renewal marks a milestone in our journey, and demonstrates our ability to integrate our work into a global communications strategy. This event and this evolution anchor us in our history, while propelling us to new heights. For Productions Optimales, the adventure continues, more inspired than ever.
